Các chủng quân bao gồm lính bộ, lính cung và lính ngựa có sự tương khắc với nhau để đảm bảo tính cân bằng của game.

+ Nhà chính: là công trình quan trọng nhất và cần được bảo vệ để chiến thắng. Khi nâng cấp sẽ mở ra các lợi thế về mặt khai thác, lượng máu và xuất hiện siêu vũ khí tấn công tầm xa hoặc hồi máu.

+ Nhà cung: nơi sinh quân cung
+ Nhà ngựa: nơi sinh quân ngựa
Các loại nhà quân đội sẽ được nâng cấp khi sinh ra đủ 1 lượng quân nhất định.
Game có 4 chế độ chơi: Single, Online, Multiplayer và Endless.
Chế độ chơi “Single” không chỉ đơn thuần là xây quân và phòng thủ, có tất cả 6 chiến dịch tương đương với 6 chương lớn của 1 câu chuyện dài về cuộc chiến này. Mỗi chương lại là 1 câu chuyện riêng: Khám phá vùng đất mới, Liên minh huyền thoại, Vùng đất chết, Xuyên qua màn bí ẩn ,… và gameplay cũng thay đổi liên tục theo diễn biến của câu chuyện.
Chế độ “Online” sẽ là đấu trường giữa 2 người chơi. Bạn có thể thách đấu cùng bạn bè thông qua mạng internet.
Chế độ “Multiplayer” sẽ là đấu trường giữa 2 người chơi. Bạn có thể thách đấu cùng bạn bè thông qua mạng wifi.
Chế độ “Endless” là nơi thử thách sức cầm cự của người chơi. Hãy cố gắng sống sót càng lâu càng tốt.
